Wire Module

Wire; Rhino 3D

With Kyra Grier, Tiffany Hall, & Kaven LaRoche

In a group with three other classmates, we were challenged to create a single module in which we could expand and grow a finished piece.

We merged different ideas to form our final module, which ended up looking like a sharp pyramid in elevation and a perfect hexagon in plan. Super malleable wire made construction easier, but nimble and tedious.

To expand our modules to create a final piece, we chose to grow radially, as they naturally converged at the azimuth. The result is a starburst emerging from a single point, reaching out in every direction.
